My preview of Cyberpunk 2077

I was really lucky to be able to attend this incredible presentation of the next CD Projekt game given the crowd waiting in line for PGW 2019! Here is my preview of Cyberpunk 2077

After several unsuccessful attempts during this PGW 2019, Sunday November 3 I finally had the opportunity to participate in this presentation of Cyberpunk 2077, and clearly I do not regret it! After having had a blast in The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3, it was with a certain curiosity that I waited to find out more about this mysterious Cyberpunk 2077.

Installed in a small improvised cinema room with our magnificent Cyberpunk 2077 caps ^^, a developer took the floor to explain to us all the mechanics of the game while another CD Projekt dev was installed at the back of the room with his controller to reveal 50 minutes of gameplay to us, just that 😀

So how can I say… Sorry for the expression, but I was literally on my ass, amazed, by this presentation of Cyberpunk 2077. The city explored in this game, Night City is teeming with life. It’s breathtakingly realistic. And again this presentation took place in a single neighborhood called Pacifica. So yes it is very likely that this demo was running on a large PC but clearly I took a big slap in the face! This city of Night City is breathtaking, no detail is forgotten. Every NPC, every building, every location benefits from incredible care! Clearly I already want to play it to explore every nook and cranny of this disturbing but also captivating futuristic city! The developers of Cyberpunk 2077 promised that we could explore the entire city without any loading time. We will also be able to complete the game without killing a single person!

Beyond its high-flying achievement, Cyberpunk 2077 promises to be a grandiose and really very complete action adventure role-playing game. The developers have insisted on the fact that each action can have quite significant consequences in the plot of this Cyberpunk 2077. Indeed, during dialogues we can decide whether or not to trust the characters in this story. It will not be uncommon to be betrayed, or to find yourself in a completely unexpected situation. In order not to spoil the plot of the game, the presentation of Cyberpunk 2077 took place roughly halfway through the story. I noted that the cyberpunk VF was particularly neat and credible. This presentation of the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 alternated between our fairly intelligent character "V" who was very good at hacking but physically weak with another much more grumpy character who broke down doors who was good at shooting but who obviously was not good at hacking. These 02 gameplay visions were very interesting and allowed us to see two completely different sides of Cyberpunk 2077

Even if this presentation ofCyberpunk 2077was frankly very impressive, I still have some small reservations about certain aspects of this game. The FPS part seemed much less advanced than the action adventure RPG part of the game. Clearly the enemies in FPS mode (gun fight) were reminiscent of the game Serious Sam. They had a tendency to rush into us without thinking. I also noticed an impression of heaviness in our character's movements. Afterwards you will have to be content only with the first person view (no 3rd person view possible unfortunately! except when traveling in a vehicle). Apparently it’s more immersive to play with this first person view! If they say it it must be true :/

Despite these few small imperfections, I can't wait to get my hands on this Cyberpunk 2077. Coming from me it's rare but this game will be "day one" for me. This Cyberpunk 2077 promises to be breathtaking graphically, grandiose in its atmosphere, very complete and meticulously immersive. Rhaaaaaaaaaaaa I want to play it :)
